Fashion Shoots on display at Create 2015

Course description

The BA (Hons) Fashion Design, Production, Styling & Promotion programme has been developed by specialist academics through close collaboration with the fashion industry, ensuring an organic symbiosis between contextual studies and visual exploration and high level garment production and digital skills.

Our students graduate with a broad fashion skill-set through engagement and success with live competitions and projects and work placements (for example Marchesa (New York), Matalan and Burberry). Industry visits and high profile visiting lecturers are integral aspects of the programme.

Successful students will enter industry with a broad knowledge and skill base in the fashion sector.

Examples of graduate destinations include self-employment and posts at Dover Street Market, BHS, The Vast Agency, Berwin and Berwin and Carl Stuart.

Entry requirements

We will consider appropriate A-levels, National Diploma, Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, Access to HE in Art and Design.

Mature students with appropriate experience will be considered, along with opportunities for APEL (Accreditation of Prior and Experiential Learning).

GCSE: a good profile, including English Language, minimum
grade C.
